Dreaming should be part of the job search

Dreaming is an important function in many endeavors. Great inventors dream of how to make things better and from those dreams come the seeds of accomplishment. Although the road to success from dreams to final fruition takes time and has many setbacks, the end result is fulfilling. But not all dreams come to life and that’s okay because failure often comes to those who dream big. If you are looking for work right now you should definitely be dreaming about what you want to do and the path that you will take to get there.

Are you thinking or day dreaming about what a perfect job would be? You should be because there really isn’t a downside to thinking about what could possibly happen. Day dreaming can bring on many different ideas and concepts that you might not have thought of otherwise. Whenever I want to be creative I take a walk and I find that is when my mind opens up to things that I never would have considered. Maybe it is being outdoors or just the exercise itself that make it conductive to coming up with new ideas but it seems to work. Of course it doesn’t have to walking; jogging and bike riding are also good exercise to get those creative ideas coming.
The most important thing to remember is not to let failure slow you down. Everyone fails at something but don’t stop trying or dreaming.
