In the past I have written about how important it is to use social media sites. One of the newest and most widely used is Twitter. If you don’t belong to Twitter and you are looking for a job you really should consider it.
Twitter is a free service that allows you to connect with other people with similar interests. Unlike Facebook, your twitter messages, tweets, are limited to 140 characters. That may seem like a disadvantage but it isn’t. When you sign up with twitter, you fill in a profile on what you are interested in, such as finding a job. There are many, many employment companies and websites that belong to Twitter. Craigslist, Careerbuilder, Monster.com are just a few of employment sites that have a twitter presence.
Another great thing about twitter is all the applications that you can use. As for finding employment sites the easiest way is to go to your home page and click on find people at the top. Do a search on jobs or employment or career or anything pertaining to work. You will find lots of job sites.
