Unemployed and over fifty news for April 28th

It seems that community colleges have seen an increase in the enrollment of baby boomers. They have been successful in the past at retraining older workers or training older workers in a new field. Experience can be a negative for some unemployed and over fifty. Some companies would rather take a chance on less experienced and cheaper younger workers. There is a story from Oregon, where the unemployment is the second highest in the country.
