Your resume is your sales flyer, make sure to make positive, highlighting your most important accomplishments and skills. Of course it goes without saying that you should be honest about yourself. Your reputation would be tarnished if you were caught in a lie. Remember the resume is your initial introduction.

Your appearance and how you present yourself in a interview is as important as the resume. Not looking professional or appearing untidy in front of a human resources representative gives a black mark against you that you may never recover from. You know what they say you only get one chance at a first impression.
